THE JOBA RULES

The Joba rules are quite clear, yet need not be stated:

“Stay off of trampolines, fat boy!”

Anyone who signs a major league or professional sports contract knows that that is a no-no. It should be considered a violation and disregard of a signed contract. A broken agreement that suspends a team from paying while you heal. If there is insurance to cover medical, it should be paid by the offender. If the Yankees don’t tear up the contract, they are fools. What Joba did was hurt the chances of his team mates to win.

What Joba has done is put his career in jeopardy by doing anything that is dangerous and unnecessary. That was a boneheaded decision, even though he was spending time with his kid.

PEYTON MANNING

Isn’t it interesting what a ripple effect the signing by the Broncos of Manning has done to the rest of the league? The Jets and now even the Indianapolis Colts have felt the effects of the signing.

MANNY REMIREZ

Can Manny rely on his reputation for much longer? Can he still play for Oakland this time, and will he sit out his suspension for 50 games? He claims he loves the game, but he is sitting down because first he opted to retire rather than face suspension, for 50 games because he tanked himself with performance enhancing drugs. He’ll soon be 40, and frankly, he is a cancer in the clubhouse. I guess he’ll put fannies in the seats at that dreadful park in Oakland.

First you violate the trust of baseball then you say you love the game.

That's all I wrote, Folks!
