MIAMI-THE LAND OF IRELAND…

JEFF IRELAND
but maybe not for long. The Dolphins GM, Jeff Ireland is under fire. The Miami fans are tired of waiting for over ten years for the team to be rebuilt. The fans organized a protest outside the team’s practice facility recently.

The recent protest by about 25 fans was to press the team to fire Ireland. The Dolphins' unsuccessful courtships of coaches Jim Harbaugh and Jeff Fisher and failure to sign big-name free agents one of which is Peyton Manning has fueled the protest. It has also caused many free agents to shun the Miami franchise because of Ireland as well as players on the team not trusting him. Sounds like a real run at the Super Bowl in Miami this year!

MAJOR LEAGUE EXTORTION!

Lance Berkman, a 12-year veteran of the Houston Astros, claims that Bud Selig the Commish, extorted the Stroes to allow the sale of the team in November they have to move the franchise to the American League as part of the new re-alignment.

Nasty business or good business sense?

Berkman says it’s a travesty, that the team has been in the National League since: its inception in the early sixties when they were know as the Colt 45’s.

MICKEY LOOMIS
SAINTS THAT AIN’T

The New Orleans Saints seem to have the Godfather running the team. Putting out contracts for game ending injuries, broken bones you get a bonus!

New Orleans head coach Sean Payton was suspended without pay for the 2012 season by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was banned indefinitely because the team’s players were paid bounties for big hits on opponents from 2009-11.

Goodell also banned Saints general manager Mickey Loomis for the first eight regular-season games next season, and assistant coach Joe Vitt for the first six games.

I wonder who will play Mickey Godfather Loomis in the movie. HEY THEY DO WEAR BLACK!
