TEBOWING ONCE AGAIN

Now that Peyton Manning has signed on with Denver, why DID Denver want to trade a great second-string quarterback? The Jets seem to think he is, and he just may bring some excitement back to the green in the MetLife Stadium!

I thought that he would go as the backup and mascot to the New Orleans Saints: he can kneel on the sidelines and pray during the 4^th quarter of a comeback drive.Now he does come to New York, and loses out once again to a Manning.

INJURIES

Seems the injury bug is plaguing every team to some degree this spring. Now the Phillies are dealing with the issue of Chase Utley, Ron Howard and now even a Michael Martinez has gotten into the act of being injured.

WARD RETIRES

After being released by the Pittsburg Steelers for salary cap reasons, Hines Ward has decided to step aside and not seek free agency or even consider playing for another team.  Ward holds every significant franchise receiving record, including receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. His 1,000 career catches rank eighth all time and he is one of two players with at least 1,000 receptions and two Super Bowl rings.

Football is losing a great contributor to the excitement and excellence of the NFL!

MIKE WOODSON MIRACLE MAKER?

Getting Carmelo Anthony to play both ends of the court and Amare Stoudemire to hustle 100%. All in the same game is a miracle, let alone 4 games. The new coach who took over for D’Antonio has the team on a roll, and will seek to avenge the Philly loss 12 days ago as of last night. Is this real or mirrors?

He’s also got the team playing as a whole on all cylinders and he is casting a challenge down on them to step up for the whole game, not just some of it.
