I'M BACK

MANNING SIGNS WITH DENVER

$95,000,000.00 MAN
I’m sorry, but I still don’t get it. $95 MILLION contract to a 36 year old quarterback who missed last year with a neck injury, and no guarantee that he is who he once was, AND structure your free agency and team makeup over this guy. Not to stop amazing me, then go ahead and trade off your current quarterback!

Once the i’s are dotted and the t’s crossed, will Elway just sit back and claim the next 5 Super Bowls based on this signing? Of course the Broncos have a great defense
and play in a weak division, but do they have the personnel that suits Manning? Does this signing mean a whole retooling of the offense?

For $19 million a year, he has chosen Denver, when he could have chosen San Francisco, or Tennessee, but it’s not for the money. Like Hell! He’ll take his $95 million and slowly fade away from football, when he was offered $10 million from the 49er’s and could have gotten to the Super Bowl for sure.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dolphins trade for Tebow. Brandon Marshall is gone, and rumors circulate that Alex Smith is gone from the 49er’s and may be considering the Dolphins, but I can’t imagine anyone wanting to play there right now, even for a whole pot of millions.

GOT YOUR
ATTENTION?
PATRIOTS

With the signing of Lloyd and Gonzalez at wide receiver, is there a need anymore for Ochocinco? Having only 15 catches and 1 touchdown, Ochocinco had a poor year even as a backup goes. Why bother with his contract when you can cut him and have salary space for another need?

That’s all I wrote, folks!
