THEY SHOULD SIT COLE HAMELS DOWN FOR THE SEASON
Hitting Bryce Harper deliberately is sick. I think the
problem lies in the fact that they are the new kids in first place, displacing
the so-called city of Brotherly Love or whatever the crap is they try to sell
in Philadelphia. Bryce Harper is
the future of Baseball and the future of the Hall of Fame maybe someday, and to
deliberately try to hit him is insane, moronic and criminal.
Is it bad enough the New Orleans Saints have resorted to
such lowlife tendencies, now the Phillies! If you can’t stand the competition,
especially when it is better than you, then get out of the sport and go away.
The shame of it all is they are ruining the game, the
integrity and the beauty of a perfect game, with greed and jealousy in the
likes of Cole Hamel.
"That's something I grew up watching, that's kind of
what happened. So I'm just trying to continue the old baseball because I think
some people are kind of getting away from it. I remember when I was a rookie
the strike zone was really, really small and you didn't say anything because
that's the way baseball is," Hamels said.
Yes people are getting away from it, it’s stupid, stupid!
# 1 SEED GETTING PLANTED?
Can it be? The Chicago Bulls face elimination in the first
round of the playoffs? The #1 team, the best of the NBA going home early! The
Philadelphia 76er’s hold a 3-1 lead in the series, and from what we see, the
Bulls are a beaten team.
Very few teams have come back from 3-1 deficits, and with
Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah down, two of their leaders, the season seems like
it is over, but sometimes, when things are desperate, someone steps up and
rallies the team, then dissolves into the background once again.
If the Bulls are going to be champions, they need their
bench to step up. With all due respect to the 76er’s, they should be able to
overcome this and continue in the playoffs.
BY THE TIME THEY GOT TO PHOENIX…
It was all over, and the Nashville Predators were out
looking in at Phoenix as celebrated their first playoff win in franchise
history! With time running out in Game 5, the Coyotes leading 2-1 with an empty
Predators' net, Shea Weber fired the puck into the Phoenix end! Instead what happened is Mike Smith:
trapped, dropped it to the ice, and fired back out to center ice, over the
neutral zone and towards the empty net.
It missed wide by less than a foot! Mike Smith made 32 saves
in Game 5 win and was already the game's first star.
So congratulations to a franchise that had a lot of growing
pains, but they have arrived with their first round playoff victory!
That’s all I wrote, folks!
