After the All Star game is played, you have to wonder who is the all star of all stars. Who has been selected the most times to play in the annual event, making him the elite of the elite? Here are the names that top the list. All are in the Hall of Fame. The number listed is times on the roster, but the years 1959 – 1962 the game was played twice in one year.

The interesting thing is these are the top six in appearances, and shows that pitching is not as sustainable as a position player is.

Left handed Warren Spahn who appearing in 14 All Star games is the first pitcher with that many games to his credit, the most of any pitcher.

That's all I wrote, folks!
