SUCK SUNDAY IN NEW YORK

The blackest day in New York Mets history was the occasion today. Shameful, inexcusable and downright unprofessional, with complete lack of pride and the laughing stock of the sports world are the NY Mets, or should I say NY Mess.

That they could play with so little passion, so little care, so careless in preparation is beyond professional reason. They are without a doubt the most embarrassing thing to happen to New York Sports, worst than the 1951 Brooklyn Dodger loss to the New York Giants after a 13 ½ game lead. At least the Dodgers didn’t lose it; the Giants just outright won it. The Phillies are National League Eastern Division Champions by the Mess losing it, not so much the Phillies winning it.

Twice the Mess had 7 game leads in the last month and twice they choked it up. 7 game leads with only 17 games left to play, and again they choke. The worst choke job in history, where is there pride?

And the Jets, surely you jest. On the football court, they are the court jesters. Out gunned, out manned, out coached, and out played.

I think for the convenience of both or all Mets and Jets fans, they should both use the same nick name: “BUMS” so that the fans can at least save money on the team jerseys.
