CHEATER, CHEATER, PUMPKIN EATER

Roger Goodell should fine Belichick the $500,000 plus the owner another $500,000 for stealing the Jets signals, and the NFL Commissioner should make New England forfeit the game to the Jets and lose some first round picks. Why so harsh? Well, if you take the NFL seriously, and the fact that NFL football is a multi-million dollar business, and the fact that New England stands to make a bundle in another Super Bowl appearance, it certainly is justified. I have to take back what I said about the Jets defense being absent from the field of play, and state that they did show up.

Mel Hall, former Yankee and Cub was arrested for rapes that he perpetrated a few years ago on his baby-sitters, two under age teenagers. Guess we can now change the record books to read Mel Hell.

Big showdown this weekend for New York baseball. Yankees try to get into the race for the division championship in Boston. The Sox look to avenge the last meeting in New York and put the Yankees away for the season, the Yanks need all three games to have any hope for the division championship. A similar scenario exists for the Mets, but the Phillies come to town and need to win all three to have a slight hope of winning their division from the Mets. The Mets. Like the Sox, look to avenge a 4-game sweep. My thinking is the Mets will not sweep the Phils, but may take 2 of 3, while the Yanks could possibly take all three and then move on to the division crown. The Philadelphians are the most desperate of the four to win, since they are in a tighter race for the wildcard.

That’s it for now.
